Senior Salute for Spring (June) 2008 graduates

Senior Salute is Hunter's special "Graduation Fair" where you will be able to:

• Order a cap & gown
• Order a class ring
• Order diploma cases and frames
• Order personalized graduation invitations
• Hear the most recent graduation announcements
• Confirm with Graduation Audit that your graduation application has been received for processing
• Obtain information about graduate school and scholarship opportunities
• Register with Career Development Services and the Hunter College Alumni Association

Degree Audit
Filing for Graduation
Students who have fulfilled all of their degree requirements prior to June 4, 2008 are invited to attend Senior Salute. All candidates eligible for Spring (June) 2008 graduation MUST file for degree audit by April 17, 2008 to have his/her name included in the commencement program. The Degree Audit Application is available from OASIS, Room 217, Hunter North, or by clicking on the Degree Audit Application.

Commencement Attendance Response Form
Students who plan to attend the Commencement ceremony must complete and return a Commencement Attendance Response Form. Forms will be distributed at Senior Salute on April 16 & 17, 2008, at which time they may be completed and returned. If you are unable to attend Senior Salute, you may return the Commencement Attendance Response Form to the Office of Student Services, 1119 East Building by May 16, 2008. You may obtain a Commencement Attendance Response Form by clicking here.

Caps and Gowns
Academic regalia – caps, tassels, gowns, and hoods – must be worn by all candidates and may be purchased beginning April 16, 2008 at Senior Salute.

Cap, tassel, gown and hood cost:
Bachelors degree candidates: $57.98 + tax
Masters degree candidates: $59.98 + tax

Note: A 10% discount will be given to students who order and pay for their cap and gown during Senior Salute.

Candidates wear colored tassels on their caps that correspond to their academic majors. Please be ready to provide this information at the time of purchase.

• School of Education: Light blue tassel
• School of Health Professions:
• School of Health Sciences: Kelly green tassel
• School of Nursing: Apricot tassel

Class Rings
Class Rings will be available for purchase at Senior Salute, April 16 & 17, 2008, from 11:00AM - 7:00PM in the West Lobby. For more information, click on www.hunter.bkstore.com

Senior Photos
You may have your Senior photo taken at Senior Salute, April 16 & 17, 2008, from 11:00AM - 7:00PM in the West Lobby. Thornton Photographers will also be on campus before Senior Salute in the West Lobby. Please call Thornton Photos at 212-647-1966 to set up an appointment in advance (Senior Salute does not require an appointment). Students who do not have an appointment will be accommodated whenever possible.

Tickets
Each graduate will receive three (3) Radio City Music Hall tickets. Tickets will be distributed at the Campus Connection Booth, located on the Third Floor of the West Building outside the cafeteria, on:

• Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday May 22, 2008
  10:00AM - 7:00PM
  
• Friday, May 23, 2008
  10:00AM - 4:00PM
  
• Tuesday, May 27 through Thursday, May 29, 2008
  10:00AM - 7:00PM

Tickets will be available ONLY on the above dates and at the times indicated. If you are unable to personally pick up your tickets, you may have someone pick them up for you. They are required to have a photo I.D., plus a photo copy of your I.D. and a letter of authorization.

NOTE: Additional tickets, if available, will be distributed by lottery only. When you pick up your tickets you will be given a "lottery card" to complete and submit. You will be notified, via email, if your name is drawn as a ticket winner. These tickets must be picked up on Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Campus Connection Booth between 11:00AM and 7:00PM.
