How To Apply
Hunter College Students Who Wish To Apply to the Hunter Noyce Science Scholars Program
There are TWO STEPS to the application process:
1. Students must first apply to the School of Education's BA/MA programs in science. The BA/MA programs in adolescent education include: Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science (Environmental Studies) and Physics. The School of Education application process includes an onsite writing sample and group interview. All applicants must have at least 50 credits and a declared major in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies or Physics. Applications to the School of Education for the Noyce program are on a continuing basis. Once accepted into one of the required BA/MA programs, students will be eligible to apply to the Hunter College Noyce Science Scholars program.
2. Application to the Hunter College Noyce Science Scholars program requires an interview, personal essay, one outside recomendation from a teacher, professor or employer and a GPA of 3.0.

Bronx Community College Students Who Wish To Apply to the Noyce Science Associates Program
To apply, interested students must submit a current unofficial transcript, have completed at least one science course with a B or better, have a gpa of least 2.8, provide one letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor or employer, and write a brief 350 word statement on why you are interested in exploring a career in teaching science. There is also a required interview. To submit the application materials, please send all documents electronically to Professor Jeanne Weiler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
