Mission
The Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing Continuing Education's mission is to facilitate lifelong learning by continuing to meet the educational needs of professional nurses and prepare them to meet the 21st century needs of complex populations, particularly in urban settings.
The Continuing Nursing Education Committee offers conferences, workshops and short non-credit courses on a wide variety of nursing and health related topics.
Goals
The goals of the Educational Provider Unit are consistent with the goals and mission of Hunter College :
- To encourage the fullest possible intellectual and personal growth in each individual.
- To develop an individual's rational, critical and creative powers.
- To inspire a zest for learning as well as to bring the recognition that learning is pleasurable and knowledge is useful.

The Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, Hunter College, City University of New York is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission On Accreditation P# NYP262-6/7/12
