Students, NPNY Visit Albany for Annual Advocacy Day

Since 2000, the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing has partnered with the Nurse Practitioners of New York (NPNY) to take part in NPNY’s Advocacy Day (formerly Lobby Day) in Albany. On Wednesday March 8, 33 Nurse Practitioner students, along with Dr. Norma Hannigan and 8 NPs from NPNY journeyed to the State Capitol to meet with legislators and advocate for the NP profession.
