MS in Nutrition - Didactic Program (DP) Track

 

This 41 credit Nutrition MS Didactic Program (DP) track prepares students to attain the Registered Dietitian (RD) credential. An Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)-accredited didactic program (DP), completion of the MS DP track results in a Verification Statement that certifies eligibility to apply for a Dietetic Internship.
MS-DP courses prepare students to assess nutritional needs, plan and manage food and nutrition programs, as well as provide nutrition education and counseling in clinical settings. PROGRAM INFORMATION

Classes are held once a week, Monday-Thursday, and are generally scheduled 9am-6pm, with one-two required courses possibly offered evenings. All classes are held in the Silberman Building, at 2180 Third Avenue (at 119th St.), in East Harlem.

Our MS-DP program has both a commendable DI/IP acceptance rate and RD exam pass rate.
