Admissions Information - External Dietetic Internship Track

 

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS


  • Completion of a  Hunter Graduate application. Admission is for Fall semester only.
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university with GPA of at least 3.0 preferred (overall and major).
  • TOEFL exam is required if undergraduate degree is from a country where English is not the official language.
    Minimum score: 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), or 100 (internet-based). Hunter ETS GRE code =2301
Application Content Submit all application materials to Hunter Graduate Admissions:
  1. Hunter Graduate online Application
  2. Electronic transcript(s) from all institutions of higher learning attended (official transcript required if currently attending Hunter)
  3. Statement of interest (500 words maximum)
  4. 2 letters of recommendation
  5. Resume
  6. TOEFL scores, if applicable. Hunter ETS GRE code =2301
Application Deadline
March 1
Non US-institution: Applicants who have completed all or part of their university studies in a non-US institution and/or require student visas must submit their applications by February 1

PREREQUISITES

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited institution or approved foreign institution
  • Successful completion of an ACEND-accredited undergraduate Didactic Program (DP) in Nutrition & Dietetics
  • Successful match with an external (non-credit bearing) Supervised Practice Program
    Note: Students may start taking graduate courses as a non-degree student during their supervised practice, but will need the DI Verification Statement in order to matriculate into the MS track.
