Hunter College offers students the flexibility to pay their tuition and fee bill over a specified period of months to make the payment process easier. The offers students the ability to pay the cost of their education in monthly installments for a minimal enrollment fee of $45.00 per semester. The payment plan is interest-free and offers many student benefits.
All payment plan arrangements must be completed with Tuition Pay by the due date of your bill.
Enrollment for the Higher One TuitionPay plan for the Spring 2015 semester is now open and will end on February 3, 2015.

Students enrolling in the TuitionPay Payment Plan after the starting month will be required to catch up on all past payments. Please see the details below:
Important Hunter College TuitionPay Payment Plan Information
- Winter session payment plans are NOT available.
- Multiple term contracts cannot be combined; each term has its own payment plan.
The TuitionPay enrollment deadline dates are exclusive and have nothing to do with Hunter College bill due dates or dorm payment dates. If your payment is due to reach TuitionPay on July 1st, your payment must be made by that date regardless of whether your tuition bill is due on July 9th.
If you enroll with TuitionPay, it is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the College has your contract on file. You can do this by logging into your CUNYfirst account and viewing your term bill. A 'PPL' code indicating your payment plan will be shown on the bill. Generally it takes 1-2 days for the College to post your contract after you enroll.
Once you enroll with Higher One TuitionPay, please review your CUNYfirst online bill THE NEXT DAY! If you enroll on a Friday, plans are not posted until the next business day. We do not have your contract information on the same day you set up your contract, so PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE COLLEGE. If you do not see your contract coded on CUNYfirst as noted above by the next day, please contact us.
If your tuition and fee bill changes and you need to increase your payment plan contract, go online and update your contract amount. This is NOT done automatically by Higher One.
Late Payments/Terminated Contracts
TuitionPay payments made after the 7 day grace period will result in the termination of your contract with Higher One. Terminated contracts that result from the student making late, partial or no payments may result in the cancellation of a student's registration. All students who are terminated by Higher One for non-payment will be billed and a 'B' stop placed on their student account. If your payment plan has been terminated, you must pay Hunter College directly.
The College reserves the right to restrict student enrollment with Higher One if their contract has been terminated three (3) or more times. This means that students will NOT have the option to obtain a payment plan. PLEASE plan accordingly and DO NOT default on your Higher One Payment Plan contract. Make your payments timely!
