Award Status

You can now view your financial aid information online through e-FAP on the CUNY Portal.  You must have a CUNY Portal account [which is different from your CUNYfirst login] to view this information.  If you do not have a CUNY Portal account, you can register at www.cuny.edu.  The CUNY Portal "eFAP" screens allow you to check on your application and award status and view any outstanding issues with your application that must be resolved with the Financial Aid Office. 

Step 1: After logging in to the CUNY Portal, click on the "eFAP (Financial Aid)" link in the Admissions/Financial Aid tab on the Welcome page.

Step 2: Click on the Financial Aid link to view your eFAP options.  Choose the Application Status page to see the status of your FAFSA and TAP applications.  If your application data is complete, you will be able to link to the Awards page to view your estimated financial aid award amounts.  If your applications are not complete, eFAP will provide instructions on how you can resolve application errors.  

The Awards page can also be viewed by using the left-side navigation bar.  The screen will display your Pell, TAP and any additional awards such as Work-Study, Perkins and FSEOG.
