MyHunter Page

MyHunter PageThe MyHunter page is the student facing side of the Hobsons Retain CRM, and uses personalized content to help engage Hunter students. Student usernames match their Hunter Net ID username, and they set their own password. They will use this same login for event sign up through Hobsons Events & Interviews and making an appointment through MyHunter Advisor. All undergraduate and graduate degree students have access to the MyHunter page, but it is most widely used by new undergraduate freshmen and transfer students.

How your office/department might use the MyHunter page to connect with students:

  • Promote an event or opportunity: Post content that is only visible to the student groups you select.
  • Simple form submissions: Use the MyHunter page to have your students submit simple online forms that are already personalized with their name, EMPL ID and contact info.
→ Learn more about using Content Documents on the MyHunter page for form submissions.
  • Guide students through a multi-step process: Dynamic content can be used to help students track what steps they have completed and what steps are remaining.

Best Practices

  • A picture is worth a thousand words. Use an image or icon in your postings to draw attention and limit text.
  • Be brief, but exciting. Your postings should be quick and to the point. If you are posting about an event or opportunity, be sure to include contact info or what to do to take advantage of the opportunity.
  • Know Your Audience. Who is this posting for? Remember, the MyHunter page is used mostly by new undergraduate students, so if you are targeting another population, you may want to be sure to include additional methods of outreach.
