The Italian workshop “Learning and Approaching Water and Sea” is a series of four two hours lessons from expert journalist and event organizer Prof. Pietro Porcella. Students will be introduced to the important items to know when you approach the recreational waters, whether this is the ocean with wind and waves or a calm fresh water lake or a river. This course will also include water safety, first aid procedure, and how to detect wind direction and currents. Students will learn the basics of windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing and stand up paddling while using the Italian language. Simple indoor demonstrations will take place in class to show the fundamental techniques of the water sports.
