This course is designed for students who want to develop their Italian listening, comprehension and speaking skills through screening of authentic short Italian films, interviews, music videos, and readings that deal with themes relating to Italian society. Class activities aim to expand students' vocabulary while enhancing their comprehension and communication skills. Students will participate in individual and group activities where they will use the new vocabulary to discuss topics concerning Italian culture and society. None of these movies were produced for didactic purposes so they offer a window into Italian culture and society.
