Daniel Harris works on the philosophy of language and the history of analytic philosophy. He is currently writing about speech act theory, semantics, pragmatics, intention-based theories of communication, and the history of how contemporary ideas about natural language grew out of early-20th-Century philosophical work on logic, mathematics, and epistemology. He also has interests in other areas, including philosophy of mind, philosophy of psychology, cognitive science, philosophical logic, and business ethics. He joined Hunter’s faculty in 2014 after finishing a PhD in philosophy at the CUNY Graduate Center. Visit his home page for more information:
