Research interests: My interests are in theoretical many-body quantum mechanics applied to problems in condensed matter physics and chemistry. My undergraduate research has been in Density Functional Theory (DFT) which is an efficient and accurate approach to many-body quantum mechanics that has revolutionized our understanding of the electronic structure of matter. My work has also focused on Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory (TDDFT) which extends the ground-state theory to time-dependent systems and excited state phenomena. I am also interested in semiclassical methods and quantum field theory.

My education:
B.A. expected May (2007), Hunter College of CUNY. (undergrad advisor Neepa Maitra)
In September I will begin my PhD studies at Harvard University.
