The Department of Political Science is pleased to announce the addition of two new faculty members in political theory.  Professor Leonard Feldman, formerly of the University of Oregon and the author of Citizens Without Shelter:  Homelessness, Democracy, and Political Exclusion, will begin teaching at Hunter in fall 2009.  In spring 2010, Professor Robyn Marasco, formerly of Williams College, will also offer courses in political theory.

Several faculty members departed at the end of the 2008-2009 academic year.  Professor Joan Tronto has accepted an appointment at the University of Minnesota and Professor Scott Lemieux will join the faculty at the College of Saint Rose.  In addition, Professor Walter Volkomer, former chair of the department, has retired.  We wish all of them well in their future ventures!
