Non-Degree
students that are applying for degree status follow
the same application procedures as Transfer students.
Deadlines: Fall - February 1 Spring - October 1
(CUNY operates on a rolling admission basis, however Hunter College programs will fill up quickly. Applications that are submitted in after the deadline will be considered on space availability.)
Transfer applicants are required
to submit official transcripts from each college attended (as well as from
their high schools) and a $70.00 non-refundable application fee. Those who
have a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) must also submit their GED test
scores. Applications, fees, and all other supporting documentation should
be sent to the University Application Processing Center (their address is
located at the bottom right of the Transfer application).
Transfer Admission Criteria

Candidates with 0 - 13.9
credits must satisfy freshman admission criteria and present a
cumulative college grade point average of at least a 2.3.
- Candidates with 14 - 23.9
credits must satisfy freshman admission criteria and present a
cumulative college grade point average of at least a 2.3 or a cumulative
grade point average of 2.5 regardless of high school academic average.
OR
- Candidates with 24 or more
credits must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.3.
- Candidates with a CUNY AA
or AS Degree must have a cumulative grade point average of at least a
2.3.
- Candidates with a BA or BS Degree must
have a cumulative grade point average of at
least a 2.3.
