Vita C. Rabinowitz is  Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs of Hunter College.  As Provost, Dr. Rabinowitz serves as the chief academic officer, overseeing Hunter's five schools, academic programs, centers, institutes, and initiatives, the libraries, and matters pertaining to faculty.  The Provost’s Office is responsible for Hunter’s academic policies, academic support services, and other issues vital to the academic quality of Hunter College.
