Faculty Innovations in Teaching with Technology (FITT)
Faculty Innovations in Teaching with Technology seeks to encourage the use of technology in the classroom and to increase student engagement by encouraging faculty to design projects that take advantage of new digital tools for content creation, simulation, animation, video, online collaboration, distance learning, and incorporation of mobile media devices.
The Gender Equity Project (GEP)
The Gender Equity Project (GEP), co directed by Distinguished Professor Virginia Valian and Provost Vita Rabinowitz, began in 2002 with a $3.75 million award from the National Science Foundation to advance women in the sciences. Today, the GEP serves as a resource for all faculty at Hunter College. The GEP's website provides a wide range of materials.
