Professor Christopher Braun was offered a Mellon funded Science Studies fellowship for the Spring 2011 Semester.

Distinguished Professor Vicky Luine was elected Secretary of the Federation of Associations in Brain and Behavioral Sciences (FABBS).  FABBS, headquartered in Washington, DC, consists of representatives from 23 national scientific societies and 27 universities.  Its goal is to advance the sciences of mind, brain, and behavior through government and public advocacy.

Professor Luine was also nominated to chair the Membership Committee for the Organization for the Study of Sex Differences (OSSD). OSSD works to enhance the knowledge of sex/gender differences by facilitating interdisciplinary communication and collaboration among scientists and clinicians of diverse backgrounds.

 Professor Mark Hauber is now one of the North American Editors for Etology—an international journal for behavioral biology.
