APPLYING TO THE DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM AT HUNTER COLLEGE


The online application for the Hunter College DPT program is available through the Hunter College Graduate Admissions website.  The application is available at http://www.hunter.cuny.edu/graduateadmissions under "Fall".  Apply to the DPT program under this Fall menu.. You MUST apply online directly with the admissions department - paper applications are not available and our program does not participate in PTCAS.  

The Hunter College Graduate Admissions Office will administer the application process for admission into each new DPT class.  

The deadline for submitting your application online is November 1st for the class starting the following June.  The program begins in the Summer following the fall application process.

In addition to the online application, you should:

1. Submit your Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores from Educational Testing Service to Hunter College #2301.

2. You should submit a student copy of all college transcript(s), or scan an official copy and submit it electronically to the Hunter College Graduate Admissions Office.  You do not need to submit official transcripts until we request them.

3. Either you, or the person supervising your volunteer clinical experience, must submit your completed Clinical Experience Forms to the following address:

4. As part of your application process, you will be required to complete a "pre-requisite checklist".  This information will come from your transcripts.  Please make sure to complete it fully and accurately. 

Please note, your letters of reference must be uploaded to the application system by the individual completing the letter through the on-line application process.

Acceptance into the DPT Program

Enrollment in the DPT program is currently capped at thirty-two (32) students per year.
