Continued Education
Post-Graduate Courses Co-Sponsored by the Hunter College DPT Program and Faculty
The Hunter College Physical Therapy faculty considers participation in continued education courses vital to physical therapy education and professional development. We host courses offered by speakers associated with nationally known organizations as well as representatives of different regions in the U.S.
We are registered with the New York State Board of Physical Therapy as an approved provider of physical therapy continuing education. All courses we host do provide continued education units. For more information on the continuing education requirement for NYS licensed physical therapists, go to www.op.nysed.gov.
The following is a listing of courses planned for the upcoming year. Registration should be done through the organization listed unless otherwise indicated. Clinical faculty who participate in our Clinical Education Program may be able to register for a reduced fee upon prior arrangement with Dr. Susan Pivko, the Director of Clinical Education. When this arrangement is possible, there are a limited number of seats available.
