Welcome to the homepage of the Hunter College/Graduate Center of CUNY Clinical Doctoral Program.
The Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program is a collaboration between the Graduate Center of CUNY and Hunter College. Hunter has provided continuous education in physical therapy and other health sciences since the founding of the School of Health Sciences in the late 1960's. This school remains the only one of its kind in the entire City University of New York system.
You can obtain additional information on our program and the Graduate Center of CUNY via the links on this page or by accessing the Physical Therapy Program website of the Graduate Center of CUNY.

We are pleased and proud to be the only site in the United States to host courses for licensed physical therapists on the Schroth Method of Scoliosis Management. We will continue to provide the series of courses developed by Axel Maier-Hesses, PT, Senior Physiotherapist and Schroth Instructor, Katharina-Schroth-Klinik, Germany which will lead to certification as a Schroth (PT) Therapist. Contact Dr. Krasilovsky if you are interested in attending these limited enrollment courses. For additional information, go to our continued education page.

The DPT Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Following review of a comprehensive self-study report and an on-site visit in January 2006, we received continued accreditation through 2016. The accreditation report was extremely positive about all aspects of the program, including its faculty, administrative support, employers, alumni, and students. You can read some of the feedback on Hunter’s Physical Therapy Program by clicking on Comments & Reviews. Our program, along with many PT programs in the US, has agreed not to participate in survey's ranking PT education programs. Click here for information about why we do not participate.
