Ways to report a crime or incident to Public Safety

To report a crime; emergency; suspicious act; or fire please contact any public safety officer at any campus. Suspicious activities may also be reported by using the Public safety web site: http://www.hunter.cuny.edu/publicsafety, go to “Contact Us”, then to “Silent Witness”.

Talk A Phones are located in each building at the Main Campus and in each wing of the Brookdale Campus. The Talk A Phones are silver boxes, mounted on walls in stairways, restrooms, and near all elevators and are used in the case of an emergency. By pressing the button on the box you will be immediately connected with Public Safety.

Turnstile Access Updates:

To make sure your OneCard works at the turnstiles, please check the back of your card to see that it has a magnetic strip. If the strip is missing or damaged, you'll need to visit the OneCard Office located in Room 126 in the West Building to get your OneCard updated or replaced. The office is open Monday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
