Using Your OneCard (Hunter ID) at Hunter

This is a friendly reminder from the Office of the Dean of Students regarding Hunter College's policy on using your OneCard while on campus at Hunter College. These measures are in place for your own safety and that of the Hunter community.

  1. All members of the college community are responsible for having their Hunter OneCard with them while on campus at all times.
  2. Your Hunter OneCard is non-transferrable and may not be used by any other person, for any reason.
  3. Allowing other persons to use your Hunter OneCard to gain entry on to Hunter's campus or to use campus facilities is a violation of Hunter College's policy and may result in that person receiving a summons for Trespassing.
  4. Improper use of your Hunter ID may also result in your card being deactivated.

Lost and Found Information

How to report a lost item and Lost & Found Hours of Operation.

Public Safety maintains a Lost & Found at Room West 213. This office is not manned by public safety, however Lost & Found forms are kept by the door. To report a lost item you may do so by filling out the form and providing a good description of the item and then placing the form in the gray box by the same door.

Lost & Found forms can be obtained from outside room 213 West. Please complete the form and it will be sent to the Lost & Found custodian. Please make sure that you provide a telephone number. Public Safety only calls you if we have the lost item in our possession.

If you have lost your Hunter ID card you shoulds notify Public Safety's Lost and Found, or cancel the ID card by going to the OneCard site. See attachment:
