Academia Literaria


The Academia Literaria is a student organization that is dedicated to the exposure of Hispanic culture and literature. It does so, by holding different events in which various aspects of the Spanish-speaking world is explored. It relies on the dedication of students, and it's meant for the enjoyment of students. La Academia Literaria tends to work very closely with the Revista de la Academia an organization that aims to bring together the most notable work of students and proudly present it to the rest of the Spanish-speaking student body of Hunter College. Any contributions of prose, poetry, short stories, photography, drawing, and essays are appreciated. For prior publications you can visit their website at!publicaciones.

The Comparative Literature Department and the Italian Specialization at the Graduate Center, CUNY, the Department of Italian Studies at NYU and the Department of Italian at Columbia University are happy to present a week-long series of events to celebrate the fifth centenary of the first edition of Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso.
