Resources

The Department of Romance Languages at Hunter College offers several resources to students. Besides the opportunity to meet with language tutors, The Romance Languages Resource Room is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. There, students can meet with professors and with other students in the department, use the computers, and access a wealth of textual materials including dictionaries and grammars. The Resource Room is located on the 13th Floor, Hunter West. Besides, The Leona and Marcy Chanin Language Center is located on the 2nd Floor, Hunter West. The Chanin Language lab also holds a  Clubroom/Screening room named after French Professor Cecile Insdorf, who created the Foreign Language Film Festival at Hunter College.
