 APPLICATION DEADLINE:  Students applying for STOCS-March 5/Other applicants: March 23

 PROGRAM FEE:  $2200 (estimated) Includes shared room in a three-star hotel with all meals, beach facilities and travel insurance. Airfare is not included.

 PAYMENT SCHEDULE:  $350 due with application. Balance due May 1^st. All payments by CERTIFIED CHECKS or MONEY ORDERS.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Upon arrival in Pescara, students check into a three-star beach-front hotel, where they remain until their departure. Classes are held at the local university, Gabriele d'Annunzio-Pescara campus, and courses offered typically include intermediate Italian language (ITAL 221) and Italian literature in English translation (ITAL 260W or ITAL 338). We follow Hunter College syllabi and grant Hunter College credits that go into your GPA. Although the program is primarily designed to offer Italian majors and minors a real opportunity to improve their language proficiency, all participants enjoy a great learning experience as they earn credits that fulfill core or distribution requirements.
