The evolution of housing condition is a very important aspect of the general integration model followed by immigrant, often linked to other forms of integration (i.e. labour and cultural). In Italy, particularly in Rome, previous analysis carried out on this phenomenon show that the dual labour market can reflect on different pattern of housing inclusion and that several components of foreign population find great obstacles in the housing integration, particularly impressive because quasi indipendent from classical variables of "integration careers" (for example, duration of stay in the country of immigration). Using very recent data on foreign population in Rome (sampled in 1998-99), the contributed paper is devoted on change of the housing condition of different communities.
