How to Request an Online Chat Tutoring Session
The Hunter College RWC offers free tutorial services to all matriculated students at the college as well as a variety of other resources to the Hunter College community. Our in-Center services include regular weekly tutorial sessions, drop-in assistance, an extensive library of handout materials, and workshops on various aspects of critical reading and academic writing.
As an alternative to utilizing our onsite services, students have the option to register for online Chat tutoring. Available to both undergraduate and graduate students, Chat tutoring is similar to our regular weekly face-to-face tutoring in that tutors will work collaboratively with you to address any aspect of your writing process, but students are able to join the Chat session from work, home, or another more convenient location.
Students who wish to register for a regular weekly tutoring appointment and are interested in having that session online can indicate their preference for a Chat session when they fill out the registration form at the Center located on 7th floor of the library in the Silverstein Student Success Center.
For further information on accessing and using the online Chat tutoring session, please go to our Guidelines for Online Chat Tutoring.
