The Job Placement Office of the Hunter College School of Education provides professional placement services for our graduates.
The Job Placement Office offers guidance to students in all areas of job placement, including:
- Organization and design of professional materials including resume and portfolio;
- Review of the process of securing a position, including interview techniques;
- Position postings sent directly to students through the online Teacher
Placement Network. These position postings come from public, private
and charter schools throughout the five boroughs of New York City, as
well as surrounding counties;
- Job Fairs hosted by the Job Placement Office each semester that give students the opportunity to meet prospective employers, present their qualifications and learn more about participating schools. Job Fairs are open only to Hunter College School of Education students. Students who have submitted graduation audits are notified of Job Fairs through the Teacher Placement Network.
