Clinical Experiences

EdIMS is the web-based system into which field supervisors enter performance scores for student teaching and practicum experiences and into which teacher candidates evaluate components of their clinical field experiences.

1. EdIMS allows us to track
   
   • Student performance in their clinical experience sites.
   • The effectiveness of cooperating teachers.
   • The appropriateness of student teaching sites.
2. EdIMS data is reviewed and used to determine
   
   • Strengths and weaknesses of the clinical experiences.
   • Future cooperating teacher and site placements.
