Check the status of your graduation application on CUNYfirst
After you have applied for graduation via your myHunter Page and recieved your initial audit results, you can check the status of your graduation posting through your CUNYfirst account. Recommendations for teacher certification are sent about a week after your graduation posts. Pending you have met all requirements, your degree will be conferred on or around January 15, 2016. Your degree conferral date will be January 15, 2016 regardless of when the conferral posts to your CUNYfirst account. You can check on the status of your graduation through your CUNYfirst account.
Log in to your CUNYfirst acount. Go to Self-Service -> Degree Process/Graduation -> View Grad Status. You may see updates such as "Applied" or "Pending". Once your graduation is posted, you will no longer see "View Grad Status" as an option. You should check your unofficial transcript (under Self Service -> Academic Records) to see your degree conferred.
