The 2014 Hunter College Principal Panel and Networking Event

ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL PANEL

The panel discussion will provide you with the opportunity to hear directly from principals about interviewing best practices, the ideal teacher profile, what principals look for on a resume, what to expect you first year as a teacher, and other topics related to your job search.

There will also be a networking session to follow the panel discussion which will provide you with the opportunity to have brief conversations with principals about teaching opportunities in their schools and to submit your resume.

ADDITONAL INFORMATION

•    This event is for Education students who will be certified to teach by September 1, 2014.
Please note that under historical guidelines there are some subject areas that may be in higher demand than others which may be reflected when networking with principals.  Since hiring guidelines are subject to change from year-to-year, networking is encouraged for all students.
•    Dress is business casual.
•    Bring multiple copies of your resume to share with principals.

HOW TO REGISTER

To register to the event please go to March 13th 2014 NYCDOE principal panel @ Hunter College.   Please be sure to bring your registration ticket to the event.

Please be sure to bring copies of your resume that provides detailed information about your teaching experience.

We are looking forward to meeting you at the Principal Panel on Thursday March 13th, 2014.
