Field and Clinical Experiences
As a teacher candidate in the Deaf and Hard of hearing program, you will learn about the design and performance of instruction through extensive field experiences in Deaf and Hard of Hearing classrooms. Hunter college’s rich tradition in teacher education is based on a commitment to preparing effective educators for the rewarding challenges of teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students. Upon graduation from Hunter’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing program, teacher candidates will not only be eligible for certification, but will also be thoroughly versed in the theories and practices of current teaching methods.
