School of Education Undergraduate Programs

Hunter College has three undergraduate teacher education programs. 

QUEST is for students who wish to become childhood teachers (grades 1-6). 

ADOLESCENT EDUCATION is for students who wish to become middle or high school teachers of a particular subject (grades 7-12).

PRE K - 12 PROGRAMS - The Dance Education program is for students who wish to become dance teachers in grades preK-12.

Both programs require that students apply after they have been accepted to Hunter. The application process involves an online application, a writing sample and an interview.  Students must apply by November 1 for the spring term and by April 1 for the fall term. Applications are available in the School of Education, Room 1000 West.
