At the beginning of your final semester, you will need to start thinking about graduation. You must graduate from your program in order to be eligible for initial and professional certification. You should apply for graduation within the first two weeks of the semester in which you intend to graduate.
Commencement is different from graduation. Commencement is the ceremony that is scheduled twice a year to confer degrees. Graduation is the actual completion of your program, with all final grades submitted and all program and admission requirements met. The Degree Audit Division of the Registrar’s Office processes the final audits and officially posts graduation. Hunter recommends you for certification once your graduation is officially posted.
Print out the appropriate Degree Audit Application Form (DAAF) and bring the completed form to the Office of Educational Services (1000 West)
