Nga Lam (Irene)
Sze, B.S. with Honors, Psychology, with a specialization in Health
Promotion, Michigan State University, is a Telephone Counselor for
Smoking Cessation Among Male Chinese-American
Restaurant Workers in Flushing, NY. She also works
as a Community Mental Health and Wellness Worker at the Chinese-American
Planning Council, Inc. in Brooklyn, providing community and mental
health services to seniors. Prior to coming to the Center, she was
a Research Assistant in the Department of Industrial/Organizational
Psychology at Michigan State, administering psychological tests and
surveys; assisting in the design of research studies; and coding and
entering data in SPSS. She co-authored and presented a research paper
which explored the psychological and motivational profile of Asian
entrepreneurs.
