HPEC provides Audio-Visual services to the entire Brookdale campus.
HPEC staff conducts the purchasing and maintenance of equipment and
can provide training on its usage.

Clickers (see below) |
Clickers:
Clickers give faculty the ability to fine tune their lectures based
on student responses. Clickers use infrared technology to transmit and
record student responses to questions. A small, portable receiving station
is placed in the front of the class to collect and record student responses.
Each clicker can be registered to a student (or not, depending on the
teacher's prerogative) and generates a unique, identifiable signal.
The HPEC has 74 clickers for classroom use.

Our mobile computer lab provides faculty with 18 wireless laptop computers
with Internet access and computer projection.
All requests
for equipment must be submitted on the official HPEC request forms.
Please note that requests must be submitted in person or
by fax at least 24 hours in advance.

This classroom (located in the basement of the East building) has 32
computer workstations, a teaching station, Internet access, and two
computer projectors.
