You
should see or speak with an advisor prior to getting admitted as a
nonmatriculant to ensure eligibility for future matriculation. Also
see admissions requirements.
STEP 1:
Get Admitted to Hunter College
This can be done in one visit. Check out www.hunter.cuny.edu/admissions
- Download an application from Admissions or go to Room
203N (Admissions Office) at the 68th Street Campus and pick up a
"nonmatriculation" application (blue card)
- Show admissions
office proof of BA / BS Degree (bring photocopy of actual degree or transcript
with official notation stating degree has been conferred)
- Submit application
to admissions office
- Once your application
has been processed (put on file) you will be active in the Hunter system as a non-matriculant student with permission to register following advisement and approval from the EOHS-UPH faculty.
NOTE: The
deadline for foreign student Nonmatriculation (degree from non-English
speaking country) is Feb. 28th for the Fall Semester and September
21st for the Spring Semester.
STEP 2:
Immunization Status
All students taking courses at Hunter College must be immunized. Please
bring proof of such immunization (letter from personal physician or
immunization records)
STEP 3:
Register for Graduate Courses
(see website for current course offerings)
- Registration
advisement for non-matriculated students is done at the Brookdale Campus
- Visit the UPH
website and view the course offerings & advisement dates. If you are not free to visit, email Prof. Caravanos during the advisement period to request registration approval.
STEP 4:
Pay Registration Bill
Bills must be paid promptly or your registration will be canceled.
