Research Interests:
- Dissertation: focused on the effect of work place satisfaction with the nurses’ ability to prevent and treat pressure ulcers for hospitalized older adults
- implementation of evidence based care in the acute care setting and the prevention and treatment of complications associated with hospitalization for the older adult (falls, pressure ulcers, pneumonia, and functional loss).
- currently pursuing pressure ulcer research at the Weill-Cornell Medical Center of the New York Presbyterian network and the implementation of evidence based nursing practices at a local hospital.
