The Hunter College Program in Urban Public Health confers MPH, MS and BS degrees in the following areas:

1. Epidemiology/Biostatistics: Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to design and conduct population health studies and apply research findings to improve the health of urban populations. The Epidemiology and Biostatistics MPH track consists of 2 specializations: one in Epidemiology and one in Biostatistics.

2. Community Health Education: (COMHE) offers a Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Community Health Education, a dual MPH and Community Health Nursing degree; and a BS in Community Health Education

3. Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences
 Graduates will be able to recognize, evaluate and control environmental and occupational chemical, biological and physical hazards. EOHS offers a Masters of Science and a MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. The MS degree is an accredited ABET Industrial Hygiene Program.

4. Health Policy & Management:
Graduates will have the knowledge and skills needed to plan and manage public health programs in a variety of urban settings and across multiple sectors; analyze the impact of policies in the health and others sectors on population health; or advocate for policies that promote the health of urban populations

5. Nutrition and Food Sciences offers an MPH in Public Health Nutrition (NUTR) and a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Food Sciences (NFS). A Dietetic Internship accredited by the American Dietetic Associations is also available.

The Program in Urban Public Health is accredited by CEPH (Council for Education in Public Health) and affiliated with three research centers, the Center on AIDS, Drugs and Community Health; the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health; and the Brookdale Center on Aging.
