Kathryn Rolland, MPH, Ed.D. (Tenured Associate Professor) is Undergraduate Avisor for the Community Health Education program. She teaches core undergraduate courses (COMHE301 and 303) as well as elective courses in sexuality and adolescent health. In addition she teaches courses in the MPH program in theory of health education (COMHE702), community capacity assessment (COMHE700) and elective courses in both the Sexuality and Women’s Health concentrations. Her research interests include the development of effective curriculum strategies for diverse student populations and the use of history in introducing students to women’s health concerns. She recently revised the chapter on Women’s Health in the third edition of Women’s Realities, Women’s’ Choices: An Introduction to Women’s Studies by the Hunter College Women’s Studies Collective (2005).
