Steps for Applying

Welcome to the SciMON network General Application page. We are excited that you are interested in enhancing your undergraduate experience by applying to a research and mentoring program. You are taking an important step to prepare for your future in research.

In an effort to streamline the application process across all of the research and mentoring programs at Hunter College, SciMON has created a General Application form that many of the programs utilize. Some of the programs, however, use their own application and/or require supplemental forms and additional documents. Below, we have provided a step-by-step matrix with links to help appplicants ensure that they submit a completed application to each program with all of the necessary forms and documents included. Please take note that the General Application only needs to be filled out once even if you are applying to multiple programs that use it. For more, please review the Gender Application Information sheet BEFORE completing the General Application.

Faculty Recommendation Cover Sheet

A complete application package includes two letters of recommendation from Hunter faculty. Each faculty recommendation must include a Faculty Recommendation Cover Sheet. Please provide each faculty member with a Faculty Recommendation Cover Sheet. Download it here.
