SEEK Learning Center
The SEEK Learning Center is located in 929 East Building. The Center provides free group and individual tutoring and skills-based workshops to all program participants who desire additional academic support services. SEEK freshmen students are required to attend tutorials throughout the summer program and the academic year.
Tutoring is offered in a broad range of courses, including introductory sciences, languages and core classes. Highly qualified and trained peer, graduate and professional tutors assist students with mastering their skills, and maximizing their potential for academic achievement.
Assistance is available in Anatomy & Physiology*, Biology, Chemistry, English, History*, Mathematics, Organic Chemistry, and Philosophy, Physics* (* available by appointment)
Drop-In hours are Monday-Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Friday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you would like to set up a tutoring session, please fill out a Tutor Appointment Request Form.
SEEK participants can request a tutor in any subject area by filling out a Tutor Request Form. Drop off completed forms at the SEEK office 1013 East Building. SEEK will contact you regarding your request in 2 business days.
