Welcome to the Communication Sciences Program (COMSC), of the School of the Health Sciences, within the Division of the Schools of the Health Professions, of Hunter College. Our primary objective is to provide a broad theoretical background in human communication and its disorders that fulfills the academic and clinical requirements for the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) Professional Certification and New York State Licensure. The COMSC Masters of Science (M.S.) degree program in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) is educationally accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of ASHA in Speech-Language Pathology.

The campuses involved in the City University of New York (CUNY) clinical doctoral program in Audiology (CUNY Au.D. program) include Brooklyn College, the Graduate Center, and Hunter College.
