Transferring Credit

Graduate courses taken elsewhere may be accepted for transfer to either the MS or MPH degree track. Evaluation of transfer credits is done by the track coordinator or your advisor. You should make an appointment to discuss the proposed course(s) early in your academic career.

The process is:

  1. Meet with your advisor and discuss course to be transferred. Bring as much information / proof as possible (ie course outlines, books etc)
  2. Your advisor will complete "Transfer of Credit" form
  3. If acceptable, arrange to have original transcript send directly from your old school to the HC admissions office.
  4. When both documents have been received by the admissions office, (transcript and form) the course will be added to your HC transcript.
