Xin Zeng (Cindy),
B.S., Chemistry with a Minor in Mathematics, State University of New
York at Buffalo, is a Research Assistant for Smoking
Cessation Among Male Chinese-American Restaurant Workers in Flushing,
NY, primarily responsible for literature reviews,
survey development, database set-up and data analysis. She is also
a Patient Navigator at the Cancer Center of Bellevue Hospital, helping
Chinese immigrant cancer patients to navigate the hospital and health
care systems by facilitating access to care, providing language assistance,
identifying other needs, and referring patients for social and financial
support. She has been a long-time volunteer with the American Cancer
Society, working extensively with Chinese immigrant communities and
patients by organizing and hosting support groups for cancer patients
and by organizing additional events that promote cancer awareness.
She is currently in the Masters in Public Health program at NYU.
