The HPEC maintains a valuable library of learning resources, housing the largest video collection of health-related titles within CUNY. The Center provides learning resources to faculty and students at the Brookdale Campus. Students may view materials in screening rooms and multimedia study-carrels, and are assisted by HPEC staff in their use of these resources.

The HPEC continuously adds new titles to the media library, making the development of our DVD and Video collection a dynamic process. Below are listings organized by subject—just a small sample of offerings from our extensive media catalog.

Prior to the start of a semester, we encourage faculty to provide us a copy of their syllabi, so that we can recommend a list of complimentary videos from our collection.

HPEC's Customized Search Engine for Health-Related Media – Still in early beta, this is a customized Google search engine that searches a growing list of websites known to offer video and other streaming content. Our goal is to customize this search so it becomes effective at finding quality, educational health-related content online.
