How To Apply

All applicants, including current Hunter students, must file a CUNY TRANSFER APPLICATION to apply for the Community Health Education (COMHE) major. Applicants must meet COMHE prerequisite requirements by the start of the semester for which you are applying.

The application fee is waived for currently registered degree or non-degree CUNY students. The fee for official CUNY transcripts is also waived for current CUNY students.

The CUNY Office of Admissions Services (OAS), offers academic counseling and application assistance for all CUNY colleges to both residents and international students. Location: 25 West 43rd Street, 18th floor, New York, NY 10001, 212-997-CUNY. Hours: Monday-Friday, 9-5. Email: inquireCUNY@mail.cuny.edu.

Obtain An Application

Submit an online or print application:

Online Application: Visit www.cuny.edu (prospective student link) for comprehensive infromation about the CUNY admissions process, and to submit an online application or request a print application.

Print applications: Available from any CUNY campus Admissions office, via email request at: inquireCUNY@mail.cuny.edu, or at the CUNY Office of Admissions Services (OAS), 1114 Sixth Avenue, 15th floor (42nd Street), New York, NY 10001, 212-997-CUNY.

Application Deadlines

Fall Admission: March 15th

Spring Admission: October 1st

Submit all documents, including official transcripts, by the deadlines. Applications received after the deadline will be considered for admission based on space availability.

Application Status

UAPC processes application for both Hunter and non-Hunter applicants. You should be notified of the decision status within six weeks of receipt of a completed application. You may also inquire into your status via email or phone.You will need to provide your full name, social security number or CUNY application identification number, date of birth, and the semester for which you are applying.
