Welcome to the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing at the Brookdale Campus of Hunter College of the City University of New York.
Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing is one of two prestigious academic units of Hunter College’s Schools of Health Professions. The School of Nursing operates under the mission of providing quality education for a new generation of nursing professionals to meet the needs of urban populations. Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing is the largest public-sector nursing institution in New York and probably the best known.
The National Student Nurses Association, 2008, awarded the Most Successful School Community Health Project, Silver Community Health Award to Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing at Hunter College, City University of New York. The award recognizes the Service Learning Efforts of the Brookdale Campus Health Promotion and 68th Street Campus Health Fair, and the Peer-to-Peer Mentoring for Professional Advancement Projects pioneered by Professor Aida Egues for the NURS 200 Introduction to Nursing course for junior nursing students.
