Acceptance Into The DPT Program

The PT program will be capping enrollment in the DPT program to thirty-four students per year.

In the past, we interviewed all qualified applicants seeking admission. This included applicants with excellent letters of recommendation and a GPA slightly just above  3.0, to applicants with excellent letters and a GPA of 4.0. We admitted students from both extremes of this applicant pool. We anticipate admissions to be competitive, but if you meet our requirements, we urge you to apply.

Please note that an interview is a meaningful component of the admissions procedure, and therefore overall GPA is not the sole factor for acceptance. If you have questions regarding your qualifications, or need to speak with an advisor, please contact the Physical Therapy office. Applicants will be contacted by the Physical Therapy Program, by email, telephone or USPS mail, regarding scheduling of an interview.
